No Accident Happens Twice

Not my characters.
For my own challenge on the Luke_and_Han list: "five minutes, beginning with the phrase 'no accident'".
(I beg the reader's indulgence; this is an unusually slow Han.)

No accident happens twice and remains an accident.

The same, Han felt, could be said of accidental kisses; although the incident would obviously retain the title 'kiss', the term 'accidental' would have to be viewed with some suspision.

By the third time Luke kissed him, excuses like "I tripped over the wire hanging out of your falling-to-pieces-junkyard-spaceship, you rotten pirate" and "what kind of stupid person leaves a puddle of oil on the floor?" no longer seemed to carry any weight.

When Luke fell into his arms a fourth time ("why do you always leave your toolbox in the middle of the corridor?") Han concluded that these were in no way accidents.

He kissed Luke back, and when Luke looked puzzled enough to ask why, he just smiled a smuggler's smile. "If I told you that, kid, if I told you that…"
